 Scout’s is for young people aged 10½ - 14 years;
we meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm – 9.00pm.
The
scouts on the whole run the meetings and we have a Troop Leadership
Forum every 3 months when the patrol leaders and assistant patrol
leaders decide what they want to do over the next 3 months. We
still play games and often play wide games were we invade the local
woods and do more challenging activities.
We camp at least 3 times
during the year once in May, a week long camp during the summer
holidays and again in September.
 The scouts do most of their own
cooking and clearing up although the menu is usually provided and
shopping done for them. Activities available are climbing, abseiling,
canoeing, hiking and we usually manage to fit in a trip to a theme
park.
